Our Corporate office in Livonia, Michigan is currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and best practices. The Network Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and optimize network performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain the organization's local and wide area networks (LANs/WANs), including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control lists, to protect the organization's data and systems.
  • Configure and optimize network devices to ensure efficient and reliable network operation.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, collaborating with other teams and service providers to identify and resolve problems.
  • Perform network capacity planning and recommend necessary upgrades to meet future business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain network monitoring and management tools to proactively identify and address network performance and security issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design and implementation of network solutions for new projects or system enhancements.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential risks.
