The Walmart Category Leadership Manager serves as a category advisor to Walmart responsible for translating strategy into execution for a large and complex category. This role leads category analysis, develops recommendations, manages modular strategy, and partners with Walmart merchants to deliver category growth. The Manager turns analysis and insights into actions that drive measurable results.

What you will do...

Serve as a trusted advisor to Walmart.

Lead category analysis and develop actionable business recommendations

Present recommendations, modulars, insights, and analysis to Walmart.

Own execution of category strategy, assortment recommendations, clustering recommendations, shelving recommendations, and merchandising opportunities.

Manage modular planning, modular development including drawing, automation, and generation, execution timelines, and implementation quality of off-cycle mods, quick mods, and support major relays.

Coach and train Associate Manager

Build strong relationship with Walmart and internally

Create category reviews, business updates, and customer-facing presentations.

Provide proactive recommendations using shopper, category, omni-channel, and competitive retailer insights.

Working Conditions

Hybrid work model based in Rogers, AR. Occasional travel required. Work may occasionally require physical activity and lifting up to 30 lbs in layout centers, stores, or modular rooms.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$112,700-$155,000

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
