Job description

The Associate Manager, Digital Optimization and Personalization will support Canada Life in driving measurable growth through data-informed optimization and experimentation across our digital platforms. This role is responsible for analyzing customer behavior, evaluating digital performance, supporting experimentation initiatives, and generating insights that improve customer experiences, conversion, and engagement across web and digital channels.

You'll work cross-functionally with product, marketing, UX, analytics, engineering, and development teams to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, evaluate outcomes, and translate insights into scalable improvements.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about data, curious about customer behavior, and enjoys turning insights into action. Reporting to the Director of Digital Optimization and Personalization, this role will work in a collaborative team working hybrid and in-office.

What you will do

  • Analyze digital performance, customer behavior, and experimentation results to identify optimization opportunities across digital channels (e.g., web, landing pages, funnels, personalized experiences)
  • Support the planning, design, and measurement of A/B and multivariate experiments by contributing data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify optimization opportunities, develop hypotheses, and contribute to a structured experimentation roadmap
  • Support the end-to-end experimentation lifecycle, including: 
    • Experiment design and QA
    • Traffic allocation and targeting
    • Data Collection and validation
    • Statistical analysis and interpretation
    • Translate experiment results into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Translate experiment outcomes, analytics findings, and customer insights into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with UX, product, marketing, and engineering teams to evaluate performance and support the implementation of optimized digital experiences
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and analyses to monitor key performance indicators and measure the impact of optimization initiatives
  • Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership and working groups
  • Maintain experimentation documentation, learnings, and knowledge repositories to support organizational learning
  • Monitor digital performance trends and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and personalization
  • Contribute to the evolution of our optimization and experimentation framework, measurement approach, and analytics capabilities
  • Promote a data-informed, test-and-learn culture by sharing insights and supporting partners in understanding experimentation and digital analytics best practices


What you will bring

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, experimentation, optimization, customer insights, or related disciplines
  • Experience supporting or analyzing digital experiments (A/B testing, multivariate testing, personalization, or similar optimization initiatives)
  • Experience working with experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Target, Google Optimize, or similar)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Adobe Customer Journey Analytics
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Enterprise Suite: Adobe Expereince Platform, Adobe Experience Manager,
  • Demonstrated understanding of experimentation methodology and statistics
  • Ability to analyze data and synthesize insights using analytics tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain results to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong presentation skills to be able to showcase findings to leadership groups
  • Experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, GA4)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for experiment implementation
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong QA and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Office 365 Skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Sharepoint

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing front end code for experimentation
  • Experience with Adobe Customer Journey, Adobe RealTime CDP
  • Familiarity with personalization or customer journey optimization
  • Experience in agile or product-led environments

The base salary for this position is between $79,100 - $131,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
