Position Description

The Associate Manager, Market Implementation manages the planning and execution of national tradeshows and related meetings for Applied Medical's Market Implementation Team. This role supports the strategic direction and tactical implementation of marketing initiatives by coordinating all tradeshow logistics, materials, attendee registration, vendor relationships, and on-site operations. The Associate Manager partners cross-functionally with teams across the organization to ensure seamless event execution that supports conference objectives and Applied Medical’s brand. Professionals with backgrounds in event coordination, tradeshow management, or marketing operations will find this role a strong match.

This is an on-site position requiring travel up to 40% of the time during tradeshow season, including nights and weekends. The role also requires the ability to perform some manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead tradeshow planning and execution for assigned events, overseeing all deliverables, including logistics, show services, booth assets, collateral, shipping, attendee registration, and onsite support to ensure alignment with event objectives and project timelines
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional event planning meetings to build stakeholder alignment on event objectives, scope, product priorities, and timelines
  • Collaborate with teams across Clinical Development, Branding, Legal, Finance, Field Operations, and Field to support tradeshow execution
  • Build foundational relationships with society partners, vendors and local leaders to achieve team goals
  • Support with managing tradeshow budgets, monitoring expenditures throughout the planning and execution cycle, and assist with the development of forecasting to improve budget accuracy and support decision making
  • Manage on-site and off-site event operations, including event leads and real-time issue resolution to ensure seamless attendee experience and successful event outcomes
  • Assist with international tradeshow needs and initiatives as needed
