Position Title: General Production

Department/Team: Production Operations

Location: Bend, OR

Shift: Day Shift

Purpose: The primary role of General Production is to perform tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
  • Work on door assembly lines
  • Inspect all product for quality
  • Material preparation and material handling
  • Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
  • Other general warehouse duties as needed
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Basic math skills including fractions.
  • Ability to read/write/speak English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
  • Manual labor work experience preferred.

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative, but not all inclusive, of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally move stock, materials, and unfinished and finished product in and near their work areas.

Work Environment:

The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations, and loud noises.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.
