Job summary:
Interface directly with manufacturing engineering and production floor to ensure company goals and objectives are met.

Essential Functions:

  • Interface directly with manufacturing to meet production needs which includes coordinating inspection activities
  • Participate in third party inspection activities
  • Perform internal audits.
  • Track, implement, and analyze effectiveness of internal corrective actions
  • Analyze failure causes by cause code (pareto)
  • Lead corrective action activities
  • Communicate with customers on quality related topics
  • Assist purchasing by marinating approved supplier list
  • Track and analyze supplier delivery and quality performance
  • Maintain supplier score cards and periodically review the results with suppliers
  • Track and analyze supplier corrective actions
  • Develop and implement part specific quality plans including first article inspection report and product audits
  • Leak Testing

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead and train employees
  • Good analytical skills with knowledge of principles, practices, concepts and theories related to quality assurance
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Capable of reading and evaluating engineering drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook

Education and Experience
