We seek a meticulous and experienced In-Process Inspector to ensure our high-quality manufacturing standards are upheld.Position Overview:
The In-Process Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections of precision-manufactured components and assemblies during various stages of production. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong knowledge of inspection tools and techniques, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.How you will make an impact:
  • Perform in-process inspections of machined, assembled, and fabricated components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical documentation.
  • Document inspection results and generate reports, including non-conformance reports (NCRs) when necessary.
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to identify and resolve manufacturing discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • Maintain inspection records and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
Required skills:
  • Experience in in-process inspection within an aerospace, defense, or precision machining environment.
  • Strong proficiency in using precision measurement tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
