Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Designer who brings exceptional animation and design expertise paired with a strong background in Game Presentation. This role centers on developing highquality visual content that elevates the invenue experience for the Game Presentation and Stadium Productions Department at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Senior Motion Graphics Designer plays a pivotal role in the creative workflow, producing highend animations, visual effects, and LED content using various animation and design tools for all MercedesBenz Stadium events, including but not limited to Atlanta United FC matches, Atlanta Falcons games, and more.

This individual must be adept at solving complex design challenges and crafting innovative visual solutions. They will implement effective production methodologies, take ownership of both largescale and smaller animation projects, mentor junior team members, and help guide the overall visual output of our productions. Collaboration is essential this role works closely with directors and managers to contributes ideas, remains receptive to team feedback, manages projects, and ensures consistent, onbrand creative execution.

Job Type: Full-time with benefits

Schedule: In-Person

  • Monday to Friday

  • Some Game Days will be required

  • Some nights and weekends will be required

    • Note: We observe internal Wind Down Days: when you work on a day on the weekend, you'll receive a rest and recovery day during the following week.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema4D, Blender, and other 3D applications to create advanced designs and animations for events at Mercedes-Benz including but not limited to Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer, Atlanta Falcons Football, and more

  • Act as a trusted contributor throughout entire project lifecycles - from ideation and production, through final delivery

  • Work closely and collaboratively with a variety of teams, including designers, video editors, digital producers, project managers, all while helping to ensure creative is high-level and on-brand

  • Actively mentor junior designers, peers, and interns in order to strengthen the overall reach of the creative team

  • Highly motivated, work well under pressure and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments

  • Effectively collaborate within a team environment and across multiple departments within the company

  • Lead projects from concept to final delivery, transforming ideas and concepts into polished, platform-ready content.

  • Design and animate motion graphics a wide range of content-from graphics-driven pieces to live-action footage-across various genres, visual styles, and brands.

  • Develop storyboards, style frames, and motion tests to pitch or explore creative directions.

  • Ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity across campaigns.

  • Adapt and version content for multiple platforms and aspect ratios for Game Presentation distribution.

  • Build and maintain reusable motion graphics templates (e.g., MOGRTs) to streamline recurring projects.

  • Implement internal and client feedback via tools like Monday dot com, managing notes and revisions through to approval.

  • Prepare layered or pre-rendered files for handoff to editors, developers, or external partners.

  • Perform fact checking, research, art/video consistency, and QC tasks for technical accuracy.

  • Keep project files and assets organized following established workflows.

  • Assist in the execution of the in-game show for all Mercedes-Benz including but not limited to Atlanta Falcons Football, Atlanta United FC MLS Soccer, and more.

  • Assist with in-house video productions and provide on-set or field support when needed.

  • Assist with any sponsorship requests including design, coordination and execution.

  • Help maintain post-production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and flag repair needs as necessary.

  • Be available for season long hours based on project demands.

  • Maintain awareness of new creative trends in design and digital media and a creative sensibility that extends across content genres and motion graphics software

  • Take initiative on additional tasks and support broader team goals as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 4 years of experience in video and broadcast production

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the digital, film, TV, agency, preferably in the sports entertainment

  • Detailed experience of live event video production

  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema4D or other 3D application

  • In-depth experience interpreting the creative brief

  • A demonstrated ability to lead design teams

  • A high-level creative design background, with developed conceptual and design skills.

  • Candidate must be able to supply web-links to completed work, demo reels or any other content, which validates their application and work experience

  • Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills; can effectively articulate and support ideas
