Help Advance Laboratory Excellence Through Technology
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Clinical Application Analyst - Beaker to join our Digital Technology Services (DTS) team. In this role, you will support, optimize, and enhance the technology that powers laboratory operations across our health system.
Working closely with laboratory leaders, clinicians, and technology teams, you will help ensure that Beaker and related laboratory applications are configured, maintained, and improved to support efficient workflows, accurate data, and exceptional patient care. Your expertise will play a critical role in connecting technology and laboratory operations to improve both the user experience and clinical outcomes.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, system optimization, collaboration, and applying technology to improve healthcare delivery.
What You'll Do
  • Configure, build, maintain, and optimize Beaker and related laboratory applications
  • Support laboratory workflows by ensuring systems operate reliably, accurately, and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Collaborate with laboratory leadership, clinicians, and DTS teams to identify opportunities for workflow improvements and system enhancements
  • Support new implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces and data exchange between laboratory and third-party systems
  • Assist with system testing, validation, patching, and security-related activities
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, build standards, and support materials
  • Ensure data integrity and system performance across laboratory applications
  • Serve as a technical resource for laboratory application functionality and best practices
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members on laboratory workflows and application support processes
  • Support compliance with organizational, regulatory, and security requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience supporting laboratory information systems or clinical applications
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, healthcare technology, and data integrity principles
  • Experience supporting Beaker, laboratory information systems, or similar clinical applications preferred
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting application upgrades, testing, and system implementations preferred
  • Commitment to customer service, continuous improvement, and teamwork

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with Epic Beaker or other laboratory information systems
  • Experience with healthcare system integrations and interface support
  • Knowledge of laboratory regulatory and compliance requirements
