POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Verify and correct patient insurance and policy information to ensure clean claims prior to payer submission and minimize reimbursement delays.
  • Identify and resolve eligibility denials, verification failures, payer mapping issues, and system errors to improve claim accuracy.
  • Analyze eligibility trends and communicate findings to leadership to support process improvements and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams and internal partners to improve eligibility accuracy, reduce denials, and optimize revenue cycle outcomes.
  • Maintain productivity, quality, and accuracy standards while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced remote environment.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred with 2+ years of medical billing, eligibility, or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • Knowledge of payer requirements, coordination of benefits, claim processing, eligibility verification, clearinghouses, and 277/278 EDI files.
  • Experience using insurance payer portals, eligibility verification tools, denials management, and reimbursement processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a customer-focused approach.

COMPENSATION:
The hourly range for this position is $18.00-$20.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401(k) benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
