We have an immediate opening for an attorney with at least 3-5 years of advisory and litigation experience focusing on public works construction. Engineering, architecture or construction management degree and/or extensive experience in construction is a plus. Experience attending legislative body meetings and capable of independently evaluating and responding to routine contracting questions and disputes is desired. This position requires extensive document reviews, including interpretation of technical matters. Must be proficient in public contracting requirements, contract negotiation, drafting and review, federal funding requirements, bid protests, surety/bond issues, insurance issues, government code claims. This position may be based in any office but candidates must be licensed in California.

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position seeking an associate with 3 or more years of experience is $127,500 - $185,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.  We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
