Job Description
Tyson Foods, Inc. has multiple openings for Associate Director Marketing Analytics in Springdale, AR. Act as a leader in driving business decisions based on market data, establishing key drivers, and providing "call to action" recommendations for growth. Predict how business and market share will be impacted in both the short and long term. Lead resolution of complex business challenges in collaboration with other cross-functional teams to address business questions. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and new capabilities as best practice around measuring the impact of media, trade, shopper marketing, and other activations. Champion the synthesis of multiple first party and syndicated information and data points such as IRI, Nielsen, Luminate, 8451, Technomic, NPD Supply Track, NET, and Mintel and translate them into insights to fill knowledge gaps. Enable advanced data analysis practices to filter clutter and extra high value insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Demand Planning and Finance for monthly/quarterly/yearly and long-range category and business projections with causal analysis. Lead analytics throughout complete product reviews to include price pack architecture and SKU optimization. Leverage data storytelling techniques and advance communication strategy to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations. Represent Tyson's Analytics team in professional organizations and meetings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Marketing Research, Management Information Systems, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, audience segmentation, and media insights.
Must have:
  • 3 years' experience running media measurement.
  • 3 years' experience running forecasting;
  • Experience with Volumetric or Market Share;
  • 3 years' experience data mining with Nielsen, Circana, Sintilla, or Kantar;
  • An understanding of pricing architectures, elasticities, price gaps, and optimal price curves.
