Job description

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks an experienced Software Developer that would thrive in full stack software development to join our growing team. Responsibilities can include utilizing the latest technologies in the Microsoft stack to build dynamic, data-driven web applications and desktop applications as well as plan and design new enterprise applications or devise ways to apply existing application resources to additional operations. This position is not remote and is located at our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE.

Responsibilities of Software Developer include:
• Design or modification of enterprise applications through software development to meet the needs of the organization
• Plan and design new enterprise applications or devise ways to apply existing application resources to additional operations
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing enterprise system applications
• Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports
• Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify enterprise applications
• Review enterprise application capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
Required Qualifications for Software Developer:
• Associate's degree or above in the Computer Science field OR equivalent combination of education and 3 years of experience
• Experience with at least one procedural language
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A positive and proactive mindset
• Great written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
