Your role at Clorox:

As the Associate Manager for Purell Consumer Sales Planning you will partner closely with both internal (Accelerator Team cross functional partners) and external (Field Sales & retailers) stakeholders to deliver near term and further out (1-3 year) growth and integration plans for Purell.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the Business: Work with cross-functional partners and customer/field teams to bring the Sales perspective into business planning. Identifies and manages execution against in-market opportunities.
  • Provide Customer and Category Support: Lead creation of sales collateral (ex: business plan) for the Purell Consumer Accelerator. Independently gather and interpret data and identify business drivers and opportunities. Lead sales input process for core business activities including innovation and forecasting. Create and update complex reports for sales planning team, project teams and customer teams. Create reports that support a broad range of internal stakeholders (Sales Leadership, Enterprise Leadership, Demand Planning, Analytic Insights, etc.)
  • Demonstrate Financial Acumen: Forecast Distribution; Velocity; Trade & Shopper Marketing needs for assigned business. Directly impacting incr. Net Sales (INCS), Gross Margin, and profit.
  • Support NRM Planning (Full Scope NRM, incl. Pricing): Support NRM process with Sales functional input, management of work chartered, and driving execution of full scope NRM plans (e.g. strategic pricing, PPA, etc.)
  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Uses appropriate tools, processes, resources to support the Purell Consumer Accelerator. Communicatefindings with wide variety of stakeholders including sales planning teams, internal BU functions, field sales/ customer teams, retailer contacts and Clorox leadership.
  • Champion Culture: Contribute to team culture, Inclusion Diversity Equity & Allyship and engagement.

What we look for:

  • A minimum of 3 years of CPG experience, ~15% Travel, and BS/BA Degree.
  • Preference for experience in sales planning at Clorox/within the CPG industry working with leading retailers.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience building and deploying GTM strategies and navigating channel conflict dynamics
  • Experience working with cross functional teams fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Sr. Leadership Communication/Influence, Cross Functional Knowledge/Influence, Financial Acumen.

Hybrid: This individual will work onsite 3 days a week and remotely the other 2 days.
