This position requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret. 

Responsibilities
  • Leverage knowledge of programming languages to design and develop software 
  • Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements 
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs 
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems 
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software 
  • Ensure all new software functions smoothly across various programs and platforms, including mobile systems 
  • Work directly with US Army mission partners to develop solutions for the Warfighter 
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback 
  • Gather and assist in the preparation of epics and features based on user needs 
  • Recommend and execute improvements 
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting 
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active SECRET clearance 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field 
  • Must meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II 
  • Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role 
  • Previous government technology experience 
  • Demonstrated experience DEPLOYING software with Agile development methodologies 
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment 
  • Demonstrated Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) 
  • Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure 
  • Ability to show proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python 
  • Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies 
  • Experience using GitLab as a version control system 

Additional Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Masters Degree  
  • Knowledge of the Army software development process and its technologies 
  • Experience working in a consultant/client environment 
  • Familiarity with federal IT standards and policies such as FISMA, NIST, and the RMF process
