Job description

CULTUREWORX seeks a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. This position will support our Operational and Cultural Performance Improvement lines of business, along with other subsidiary assignments. This position will lead the design, development, and implementation of organizational leadership and culture performance management software programs and SasS platforms; with an emphasis helping our clients leverage technology to facilitate frontline leadership training and development that advance the operational systems and processes for our clients.


This fulltime position will be based at CULTUREWORX' company headquarters in Midtown - Atlanta, GA. Occasional remote/at-home work opportunities may also become available.


The Senior Software Developer is responsible for building responsive websites and applications - from backend systems to implementing complex interactive front-end user interfaces. This role requires an engineer who is highly proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, and who has experience writing maintainable code on complex projects.


Our ideal candidate is a master of their craft and continues to assess and learn new technologies and programming languages. You are someone who takes great pride in your work and can be relied upon to help deliver incredible user experiences in a fast-paced environment.


Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of web development experience
  • Expert PHP experience
  • Expert JavaScript experience
  • Strong Experience with an MVC framework (Preferably Laravel)
  • Experience with SasS or LESS
  • Experience with either React, Vue, or Angular
  • Industry experience in working with a team of developers (in-house or 3rd-Party)
  • Direct supervision, management, or leadership responsibilities
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Communications / presentations at all levels of management
  • General Understanding of Corporate Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Production and other related processes

This role will report to the Chief Executive Offer, while working closely with our third-party Development partner. The Senior Software Developer must possess and exhibit a willingness to learn and take direction, balanced with the ability to bring positive personal and professional leadership experiences and knowledge to the forefront of the software development process. The Senior Software Developer position requires the confidence and ability to develop and execute an aggressive, results-focused Software Development and Integration plan which includes all phases of a technical product lifecycle.


Job Requirements:

  • Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs
  • Testing and evaluating new programs
  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
  • Writing and implementing efficient code
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Develop knowledge of digital learning tools and the ability to integrate proprietary learning and development methodologies with new or existing software products
  • Experience working with subject matter experts (SME) in various fields
  • Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to receive and incorporate feedback into development work
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with computer-based training software
  • Strong ability to manage, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
  • Ability to reliably meet project deadlines
  • Proactive, collaborative, and flexible
