MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the development and implementation of data strategies and frameworks that drive decision-making and organizational learning across the enterprise.
  • Maintain and enhance the accuracy and reliability of the CMDB by validating hardware models, correcting asset records, and standardizing location entries in alignment with ServiceNow data governance standards.
  • Develop predictive models, conduct simulations, and perform statistical analyses to deliver actionable insights that optimize program performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Design and manage complex data collection, storage, and retrieval processes, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Contribute to the development and rollout of ServiceNow modules. Ability to understand the platform and utilize data for analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to track utilization across multiple environments, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, address reporting gaps, and deliver timely, accurate insights that support mission objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 4 years of overall experience OR a master's degree and 2 years of experience or a PhD.
    • High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor's degree
    • Associate's degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management systems and CMDBs (e.g., ServiceNow) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT service management best practices and their integration with data science initiatives. Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its application to data security and privacy. Experience with Zero Trust Architecture principles and their implementation in data environments.
  • Relevant certifications in data science or data analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Cloudera Certified Professional Data Scientist (CCP:DS)). ITIL Foundation certificate.
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
