As a Sr Data Analyst, you will lead the analysis, design, and implementation of scalable data solutions supporting business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into structured analytical approaches and build scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics and AI-driven techniques-including LLM-assisted workflows-to optimize data processing, enhance decision-making, and deliver strategic insights across healthcare and claims data domains.

You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of data solutions to support business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics, incorporating AI-driven techniques where applicable
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into structured analytical approaches, datasets, and actionable insights
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, evaluate emerging trends, and drive continuous innovation
  • Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues, determining root causes and recommending solutions
  • Design and maintain data models, mappings, and transformation logic to standardize and integrate disparate datasets, particularly within healthcare and insurance domains
  • Support the adoption of advanced analytics and AI capabilities (including LLM-assisted workflows) to improve data processing, reporting efficiency, and decision-making with an emphasis on responsible use of AI
  • Build and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations, data governance standards, and responsible AI practices
  • Provide subject-matter expertise in healthcare and claims data, supporting issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and mentorship of junior analysts
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience of additional 4 years in lieu of degree
  • 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence
  • 2 years of experience writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
  • 2 years of experience working with healthcare or medical claims data
  • 1 years of experience designing data models, mappings, and transformation logic for complex datasets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience leveraging AI-driven analytics, LLMs, or machine learning techniques in data processing and reporting workflows
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, data governance standards, and responsible AI frameworks
  • Experience mentoring team members and contributing to best practices in an Agile environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
