Job description

Position Summary

The position is responsible for critical Finance Processing Services (FPS) functions, including the addition and maintenance of Supplier and Customer Master Data, 1099 reporting and supplier payments. Ensuring data and process consistency and control is critical to the position. The role also requires strong interpersonal, customer service and process management skills. The role will also supervise Data Operations analysts in the execution of their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate entry of supplier and customer master data
  • Validation of banking details for suppliers
  • Process weekly payments for assigned segments and brands, including Check, ACH, Credit Card and Wires
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assigned activities, particularly for internal key and non-key controls
  • Manage the Positive Pay file process
  • Process and send 1099 and 1042 tax documentation for assigned segments and brands on an annual basis; handle and resolve any B-Notice issues
  • Develop and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all activities in scope for Data Operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within scope of responsibility timely, accurately and in full
  • Supervise the work of data operations analysts
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Associates Degree in accounting or similar or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Formal or informal supervisory experience
  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills
  • System troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities effectively

Preferred:

  • Additional skills in accounts payable/receivables database management and queries
  • Ability to travel as needed for training

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
