Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Provide nursing care to patients in Pre-op and Post-op Phase II/Procedures within the Day Surgery Unit.
- Plan and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other clinical personnel to ensure professional standards are maintained.
- Support the clinical area’s philosophy, goals, and shared governance vision.
- Act as a leader and role model within the nursing team.
- Utilize and transition to Epic EMR system (from Meditech) during assignment.
- Participate in evening and weekend call rotations as required.
- Deliver patient care for Day Surgery, Procedures, and IV Infusion (excluding Chemotherapy).
- Adhere to hospital policies regarding mandatory vaccinations (Flu vaccine required).
- Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements (Colorado RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS).
- Work assigned shifts: 4-10 hour day shifts including call rotations.
- Submit required documentation (resume, skills sheet, certifications, proof of flu vaccine, RN license) if applying through an agency.
