Job Title: Creative Project Manager

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 6 months

Target Start Date: ASAP

Work Location/Structure: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3x per week)

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leader in financial services, is looking for a skilled Creative Project Manager to join their team for a 6 month engagement. This project involves leading the execution of creative deliverables that support a growing business, guiding and elevating the process between internal stakeholders and inhouse creative teams, resourcing, prioritizing, and managing the execution of projects within assigned verticals from beginning to end. This is a highimpact role that requires a selfmotivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
  • Own, resource and manage approximately 50+ complex, concurrent projects from intake through delivery using multiple project management tools. Deliverables include emails, banner ads, landing pages, social campaigns and videos.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the teams flow of work to ensure timely deliveries while also anticipating and mitigating potential bottlenecks. This includes prioritizing project schedules, allocating resources and balancing the workload across the team.
  • Proactively communicate project status/issues/roadblocks and shifts in priority. Provide context, impact analysis, and present solutions (be a problem solver).
  • Lead weekly meetings to communicate and track the status of each deliverable and make sure theres proper documentation of all projects.
  • Create efficiencies in existing process, establish new process whenever needed, and ensure it is scalable.
  • Efficiently and effectively manage daytoday problems, and communicate effectively in difficult and timesensitive situations. Understand when (and why) to elevate issues.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience inhouse or agency creative project management experience, preferably in a fastpaced setting.
  • Deep expertise in project management principles and characteristics, and demonstrated understanding of the creative process across digital channels. This isnt a learning roleyou need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing 50+ concurrent projects in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
Minimum Basic Qualifications
  • 5-7 years inhouse or agency creative project management experience, preferably in a fastpaced setting.
  • Mastery of project management principles and characteristics.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the creative process across digital channels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced experience with Workfront and JIRA preferred.
  • A proven ability to remain calm, effective and productive under pressure. A track record of proactively solving complex problems and knowing when to elevate issues with a clear recommendation.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with creative team, legal team, marketing partners and executive leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organization, and problemsolving skills.
