About the Role

Chime is seeking an Associate Creative Director to lead the development of scalable messaging and creative systems that power product launches. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for translating product strategy into clear, modular, and repeatable creative infrastructure.

Leaning copy-first but fluent in visual systems, this role defines how Chime products are positioned, explained, and expressed across channels. You will build and evolve messaging systems, partner closely with design to ensure integration with visual frameworks, and develop AI-enabled workflows that enable speed, consistency, and quality at scale.

This role operates with high autonomy, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and raising standards across Product Marketing and Go-To-Market creative.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $145,000.00 and up to $200,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to
  • Lead the development of scalable product messaging systems, including positioning frameworks, modular copy architecture, voice and tone guidance, and channel adaptations
  • Translate complex product strategy into clear, structured messaging that flexes across audiences and funnel stages
  • Lead design leads to ensure messaging systems integrate seamlessly into visual and design systems
  • Establish and document creative standards and guardrails that enable consistency without sacrificing flexibility
  • Build and evolve AI-enabled tools and workflows to support campaign creation, customization, and compliance at scale
  • Anticipate edge cases, future use cases, and product evolution-designing systems that are durable and extensible
  • Drive alignment across Product Marketing, GTM, Compliance, and Channel teams through strong communication and creative rationale
  • Continuously refine and elevate existing toolkits based on feedback, insights, and business needs
To thrive in this role, you have
  • 8+ years of creative experience with deep expertise in copywriting and creative direction
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to structured systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale messaging or design systems used by multiple teams
  • Strong editorial judgment and clarity of thought
  • Fluency in visual systems and collaborative partnership with design
  • Experience shaping or implementing AI-assisted creative workflows
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • High degree of ownership, autonomy, and systems thinking
