Job description

Overview: 

The Insights product is a new offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, that offers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint's proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e. private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals.

This is a hybrid role from our NYC office.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with Team Leads to plan primary research content that will cover various areas within biotech and pharma sectors.
  • Lead interviews as a moderator featuring expert physicians, researchers and industry executives from Guidepoint's network of over 700,000 professionals.
  • Prepare for interviews by reading public company SEC filings, reviewing investor presentations, monitoring news releases and analyzing Wall Street research reports.
  • Partner with the firm's AI initiative to enhance, organize, and optimize library and corporate content for improved knowledge discovery, content intelligence, and strategic insights.
  • Top performers will have opportunity to advance to lead a team in a strategist role

What You Have:

  • Master's or above in Life Sciences. PhD in life sciences or Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic is preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sell-side or buy-side analyst or corporate experience or prior experience in content generation.
  • Must have good handle on pathophysiology and clinical aspects of diseases, and basics of mechanism of action of therapeutics.
  • Be familiar with commercial and business aspects of therapeutics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levels
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team; must be willing to train and mentor junior professionals

What We Offer:

The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
