Job description

International Development Specialist

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a qualified International Development Specialist to perform market research and deliver prompt, efficient and professional customer support and product knowledge via phone, email and face-to-face interactions to our international customers.

As an International Development Specialist, you will

  • Manage customer accounts with a view to maximizing their value
  • Create business cases and other pitch materials to sell
  • Develop and implement Global E-Commerce strategies for expansion while ensuring strategies align with the overall business model
  • Create and make strategic presentations to leadership inside and outside the organization
  • Field and respond to incoming sales enquiries with the intent of maximizing their sales potential whilst delivering the best possible service to customers
  • Identify and secure sales and other commercial opportunities
  • Formulate and execute a commercial strategy to generate new revenue streams.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • Work closely with the international team and management to formulate quotes, obtain status of orders, resolve product inquiries, etc.
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns
  • Perform market research and analyze internal department procedures to achieve all sales targets
  • Perform customer product trainings via zoom or in person.
  • Proactively acquire new customers through outbound calling/emailing initiatives
  • Attend new product training sessions as required
  • Attend international trade shows, and commercial conferences to stay up-to-date on international sales rules and regulations as required
  • Establish, review, and report market activity, market penetration, pricing, margins, selling approaches and itineraries to product management
  • Resolve issues by working with the customer, sales, and product marketing/development.
  • Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years prior experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and communication skills (Bilingual is a plus- Spanish, or any other language)
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Understanding of common business practices relating to pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, payment and services
  • Professional and concise verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening skills to fully comprehend customer needs
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and conflict resolution skills to effectively work with customers as well as other departments within the company
  • A highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • The capability to handle adversity and conflict with successful outcomes
  • The ability to systematically and logically to resolve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data search/entry
  • Authorization to work in the United States
