Who Are We Looking For: Associate Clinical Director
To facilitate the continued growth of our practice, we are excited to seek an Associate Clinical Director to join our leadership team. This role will play a key part in building, developing, and leading a team of clinicians, while also supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate care.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive licensed clinician who is eager to grow within a supportive environment dedicated to serving our communities. This role will support both outpatient behavioral health services and leadership initiatives within the practice. Experience with Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and substance use treatment services is highly valued and considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • ย Provide individual therapy using developmentally appropriate and evidence-based interventionsย 
  • ย Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and complete clinical documentation in a timely mannerย 
  • ย Maintain timely and accurate clinical records in accordance with ethical and legal standardsย 
  • ย Maintain agreed-upon caseload and billable hours in alignment with clinic expectationsย 
  • ย Build, develop, and lead a team of clinicians, including recruitment, onboarding, mentorship, and performance supportย 
  • ย Provide clinical supervision and consultation to associate-level clinicians and trainees, supporting case conceptualization, professional growth, and ethical practiceย 
  • ย Manage and support team performance, including monitoring productivity, documentation quality, and clinical standardsย 
  • ย Partner with leadership to support program development, workflow improvement, and strategic growth of the practiceย 
  • ย Participate in leadership meetings, team meetings, and continuing education to support clinical excellence and organizational growthย 
Qualifications
  • ย Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health fieldย 
  • ย Active LCSW and LCAS licensure in North Carolina requiredย 
  • ย Minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience preferredย 
  • ย Eligible and approved to provide clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians in accordance with North Carolina licensure board requirements preferredย 
  • ย Experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families using evidence-based and developmentally appropriate approachesย 
  • ย Experience with Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), substance use treatment services, or program development is a strong plusย 
  • ย Certifications and/or training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care, or Play Therapy are a plusย 
  • ย Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and collaboration skillsย 
  • ย Self-motivated with the ability to manage a consistent caseload and meet productivity goalsย 
  • ย Prior experience in an outpatient practice setting preferredย 
  • ย Experience using SimplePractice or similar EHR systems is a plusย 
  • ย Commitment to culturally competent and trauma-informed careย
