We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will partner with Product Managers, Business Intelligence Developers, and business stakeholders to support the implementation and enhancement of health insurance products within a product definition platform. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting testing efforts, and helping translate business needs into technical solutions that support product launches and ongoing enhancements.

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Business Systems Analyst I: $53,000 - $66,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Business Systems Analyst II: $59,800 - $76,100, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with Product Managers, Business Intelligence Developers, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for new health insurance products and product enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications that support technical development and implementation.
  • Coordinate and execute testing activities, including test planning, test case development, defect tracking, validation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to support product configuration, system integrations, and implementation efforts, gaining knowledge of product definition coding and platform capabilities.
  • Support project delivery by facilitating requirements discussions, identifying risks, documenting decisions, and ensuring alignment between business and technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements, operational efficiencies, and adoption of emerging technologies and AI-enabled business solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements for technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of health insurance products, business processes, and product implementation lifecycles.
  • Experience supporting software development, system implementations, testing, and user acceptance activities.
  • Exposure to structured data formats and markup languages such as JSON and XML, with a willingness to learn technical concepts and product definition platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting technology solutions.
  • Experience supporting product definition platforms, system configuration, or insurance administration systems.
  • Exposure to APIs, data integration concepts, SQL, cloud-based technologies, or AI-enabled analytics initiatives.
