Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 6 years of related experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, or Management Information Systems is preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and procedures

CBIZ is seeking a hands-on Manager to lead development and delivery of data driven insights across the organization The manager will lead of team of developers focused on building insight driven reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, AI and modern data architectures. ย 

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Actively manage a team of data professionals to achieve strategic priorities and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to standardize, promote, and evangelize the responsible and ethical use of data needed to improve the firm's performance.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert of our enterprise-class data warehouse and analytics solution.

  • Leverage our data to support performance initiatives.

  • Assist with the build, development, and maintenance of data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.

  • Support in driving data initiatives and efforts to improve firm-wide decision-making.

  • Partner with the Information Security and Data Protection teams to implement controls, policies, and standards that meet organizational expectations while still complying with regulatory requirements.

  • Present operational updates, issues, and proposals to directors and executive leadership on a regular basis.

  • Help govern and support a culture that manages data as an enterprise asset.

  • Cultivate, foster, and maintain positive working relationships with data-centric user and peer groups.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement on the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing a small team of onshore and near-shore developers.

  • Experience managing projects in an agile environment

  • Hands-on development experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse and Azure SQL.

  • Experience writing and troubleshooting DAX calculationsย 

  • Managed Instances a plus.

  • Deep understanding of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Master Data Management, and Reporting.

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, with Business Objects a plus.

  • Recent experience utilizing data analytics platforms (Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Google, Snowflake).

  • Deep understanding and hands on experience with Data Integration Tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Data Modeling & Schema design and development.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of view design & development.

  • Experience implementing Query analysis and performance optimization.

  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance related terminology.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Certifications related to Microsoft Data Products is a plus.
