Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw and other legal research tools to support case development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation cases and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Support negotiation processes on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Manage legal administrative tasks efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay current on legal developments across multiple practice areas through continuous research and professional development.
  • ~150 hours per month billable time

Requirements

  • At least two years of civil litigation experience, with a solid track record in handling complex legal issues.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Ability to consistently display professional conduct in an office environment.
  • Ability to use a computer and navigate standard software
  • Written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to construct compelling legal arguments and strategies.
  • Expertise in managing a diverse caseload, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Commitment to professional development, continuous learning and service to the legal community
  • Ability to litigate effectively and negotiate favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual caseloads.

Salary:

$125,000.00- $155,000.00 DOE
