Job description

Kiddie Academy in Murrieta, California is currently seeking a dedicated and organized fully qualified preschool teacher to fill the role of Admin Support Staff member. This pivotal position will involve supporting the daily teacher schedules and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Providing support to teaching staff during 10-minute breaks
  2. Assisting teaching staff with lunch breaks
  3. Ensuring that teachers adhere to their schedules for timely breaks
  4. Maintaining classroom ratios
  5. Ensuring compliance with KA Health and Safety Standards in the classroom
  6. Supporting the admin team in their daily tasks

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or early education-related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in classroom management and customer service, familiar with Title 22 regulations
  • Proven track record in customer service and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Knowledgeable in safety protocols

Applicants should be fully qualified with Admin Units to be considered for this role.

Education and Certification Requirements:
  • Teacher Qualifications

    A permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing service in the care, development, and instruction of children in a child care and development program. This can be either of the following permits:

    • Regular Children’s Center Instructional Permit
    • Limited Children’s Center Instructional Permit
    • Emergency Children’s Center Instructional Permit
    • Child Development Master Teacher Permit
    • Child Development Teacher Permit
    • Child Development Associate Teacher Permit (Note: This permit authorizes the holder to supervise Assistant Permit holders and an aide.)

    OR

    A current credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing teaching service in elementary school or a single subject credential in home economics, and 12 units in ECE and/or CD or two years’ experience in early childhood education or a child care and development program.
