Job Responsibilities & QualificationsLeadership & Operations
  • Lead all aspects of community operations, ensuring quality, service, occupancy, and financial goals are met
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing community leadership team
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and adherence to company standards across all departments
  • Set the tone for a culture of accountability, hospitality, and excellence
Resident Experience
  • Ensure implementation of policies and procedures related to resident care, including timely, accurate assessments and service planning
  • Oversee resident services, including coordination of independently contracted ancillary health care providers as requested by residents and families
  • Support resident self-governance through the Resident Council and maintain communication with residents' designated agents
  • Manage the community with a target of high customer satisfaction — promptly investigate complaints, report findings and recommendations, and ensure resolution
  • Ensure compliance with all resident care regulations, including HIPAA, state regulations, and OSHA
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with residents, families, referral sources, and the general public as a representative of the community and company
Sales & Community Growth
  • Partner with the Director of Sales and sales team to develop and execute plans that meet occupancy targets
  • Build and maintain a favorable public image through community involvement and external marketing efforts
  • Monitor progress against sales/marketing goals and adjust plans as needed
  • Train or support training on sales tours as needed
Financial & Business Performance
  • Manage income and expenses against annual budget projections
  • Maintain and review financial records per company policy
  • Participate in annual budget development
  • Ensure timely, consistent collection of resident invoices and accounts receivable
  • Maintain familiarity with Medicaid waiver or other government payor program terms, where applicable
Qualifications

Required

  • 3-5+ years of Executive Director or senior leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
  • State-required Administrator license/certification (where applicable), or ability to obtain
  • Proven track record of achieving occupancy, financial, and quality outcomes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
  • Multi-department operational leadership experience
  • Experience managing P&L for a senior living community
