Job description


We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Medical Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant required) to provide clinical and administrative support to an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). This role involves local travel between sites and using a company-provided vehicle and requires a strong commitment to patient care, professionalism, and reliability. The ideal candidate is located near Lincoln, IL and is willing to commute to Lincoln to start their day.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the APN with clinical duties, including patient intake, vital signs, and documentation
  • Support care coordination and follow-up with patients and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Prepare exam areas and ensure proper stocking of supplies
  • Assist with basic procedures within scope of training and certification
  • Provide compassionate, professional patient interactions
  • Travel locally to support care delivery across assigned locations


Qualifications:
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Previous medical assistant, clinic, or long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a mobile work environment
  • Basic computer proficiency (EHR experience preferred)
