The Institution for Savings is seeking an in-person experienced and strategic Senior Vice President Loan Operations to supervise and coordinate activities of the Bank's Residential and Commercial Loan Operations. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of Residential and Commercial Loan Operations personnel involved in performing internal operations of the Bank. Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision, leadership and direction to the Loan Operations Department.
  • Develops, implements and updates policies and procedures for all of Loan Operations.
  • Oversees initiatives and projects aimed at minimizing risks for Loan Operations, including operational, strategic, reputational, credit and compliance risks. Identifies crucial controls, ensures the implementation of internal controls, and conducts ongoing reviews of exceptions and processes to address potential exposure.
  • Develops/implements process efficiencies.
  • Collaborates with auditors, loan review teams, examiners, and other departments, to ensure a highly functioning department that is meeting the needs of our customers.
  • Ensures the completion of daily tasks such as reviewing reports and processes, parameter maintenance, bankruptcy/charge-off processing and maintenance, eOscar credit bureau reporting and dispute resolution, customer reporting requests and generation, audit preparation and response, and investor remittances and balancing to proactively manage risk.
  • Works alongside IT and product vendors, such as our Core banking system and others, to execute system or product upgrades, aiming for minimal disruption to customers.
  • Manages the accurate and timely onboarding of all residential, consumer and large commercial loans, including Participations, Commercial Real Estate and C&I Loans.
  • Designs office workflow system, incorporating use of data processing and computer hardware options.
  • Prepares work schedules and assigns duties to loan operations personnel to ensure efficient operation of department.
  • Successfully completes annual regulatory training as required by the Bank and adheres to all applicable banking regulatory requirements for this position.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal oriented.
  • Utilizes strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize a high volume of tasks simultaneously.
  • Consistently achieves goals and meets strict deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to context, substance and detail.
  • Embraces the team-oriented culture and works collaboratively across the Bank to support the Bank’s strategic growth plans.

Salary Range $150,000-$200,000
