They work closely with our extensive broker network to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk. Through close collaboration with our Risk Services and Claims departments they can get a holistic picture of each risk and make Underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties.


They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.

If you are great at:

  • Commercial Underwriting
  • Executing renewal rates and exposure, retention, and rate adequacy guidelines
  • Analyzing new business for risk profitability
  • Monitoring trends and developments, identifying areas of concern regarding loss ratio
  • Building relationships

  • 3+ years of Underwriting experience with a commercial focus
  • Completed, or pursuing your CIP designation (an asset)
