Job description

Description
  • The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing therapeutic assistance and promoting a physically and emotionally safe environment. The Residential Assistant is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and securing of assets, personnel and clients at the facility. Institute appropriate security measures as indicated by facility guidelines. Works under the supervision of the Milestone Transitional Housing/Diversion Center Supervisor and will provide supervision to Milestone Transitional Housing/Diversion Center clients to ensure efficient operations of the program according to TTBH policies and procedures. The Residential Assistant should maintain a safe and secure environment for all clients and will provide support services to the Milestone Transitional Housing/Diversion Center Treatment team.
    At Center's discretion, position will include cross coverage and assignment to serve in other programs to provide treatment services.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited High School or GED certificate issued in accordance with the Texas law .
    Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
    Must a valid TX Driver's license, travel or transport may be required
    1 year of direct care experience in psychiatric or behavioral healthcare environment preferred.
