Technical Systems Integration, Inc. (TSI) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Williamsburg, Virginia, delivering professional, technical, and management support to the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and DoD customers across the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.


About the Role

Technical Systems Integration, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Training Specialist to support mine warfare and naval surface systems training curriculum development at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, Florida. This position focuses on developing comprehensive formal training curricula, Computer-Based Training (CBT) products, and training materials. The position will create training packages using Authoring Instructional Media (AIM) software and develop materials that directly support fleet operator proficiency and system effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Update and convert existing training material to SCORM compliant Computer-Based Training products.
  • Develop new training modules using standard e-learning authoring software under senior specialist direction.
  • Create job aids, help files, and quick reference cards for assigned training systems.
  • Update existing training materials following interim and just-in-time training events based on fleet feedback.
  • Support development of training slides, job sheets, tests, and answer keys under the direction of senior training specialists.
  • Assist with organizing training content according to Navy standards for order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate training materials.
  • Participate in training Integrated Product Team meetings and working groups as an active contributor.
  • Maintain records and files of training materials and revisions in accordance with configuration management procedures.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Technical Communication, or related field.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience in training development, instructional design, or curriculum development.
  • Exposure to Computer-Based Training development or e-learning authoring tools.
  • Experience producing training materials such as job aids, quick reference cards, or student guides.
  • Working knowledge of SCORM standards.
  • Current SECRET security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Navy training systems and fleet training requirements.
  • Familiarity with Instructional Systems Design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Understanding of Navy training policies and NAVSEA or NAVAIR training standards.
  • Recent completion of a degree program in Education or Instructional Design with applied coursework in curriculum development.

Compensations and Benefits


Compensation: $60,000 - $62,000
