Assistant Athletic Director (AAD)


Assist the Athletic Director in all aspects of running the Athletic Department:
 

  • Answer emails and phone messages in a timely and professional manner.
     
  • Assist with supervising Home athletic events.
     
  • Assist with meeting dates, award nights, and special events.
     
  • Keep coaching roster up-to-date and accurate.
     
  • Keep team rosters up-to-date and accurate.
     
  • Keep athletic website up-to-date and accurate.
     
  • Keep physicals and other schools forms via Final Forms up-to-date and accurate.
     
  • Coordinate transportation schedule with Head Coaches and Transportation Department prior 
    to the start of each season.
     

  • Confirm all Away events with Transportation Department on a weekly basis.
     
  • Confirm all athletic events (Home & Away) with opposing schools on a weekly basis.
     
  • Hire and confirm workers for all Home events.
     
  • Prepare event signage and rosters for all Home events.
     
  • Prepare moneyboxes for all Home events.
     
  • Assist with selling, promoting, and monitoring All-Sports Passes and game day ticketing.
     
  • Assist with accurate accounting records for all Home events.
     
  • Make financial deposits to the school treasurer following every Home event.
     
  • Provide necessary documentation for State Audits.
     
  • Assist with academic eligibility for all in-season student-athletes with Head Coaches,
    Guidance Department, and Athletic Director.
     

  • Prepare and submit IHSAA tournament entries for all sanctioned sports.
     
  • Assist with accurate record keeping, such as game results; seasonal records; and any
    other school distinctions.
     

  • Assist with accurate record keep of student-athlete awards following each season.
     
  • Assist with hospitality of officials, workers, and any special guests at Home events.
     
  • Assist with scheduling the school facilities (practices, meetings, youth events, school
    events, etc.) via EventLink.
     

  • Assist with all aspects of the concession stand(s) ordering, stocking, and prepping for
    all Home events.
     

  • Oversee student office aides.
     
  • Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and Principal.

Preferred Requirements:
 

  • Prior Coaching and/or Athletic Administration preferred
     
  • Bachelor's Degree
     

Compensation:

  • Salary - $60,000 
     
  • 240 Day contract
