The Maintenance Manager will divide their time between 20% administrative tasks and 80% fieldwork, including plastering and painting. SALARY : Starting at $62,000/year GENERAL ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To carry out cleaning, installation, maintenance or minor repair work of short duration which does not require a qualification card, such as the installation of accessories and appliances, the adjustment of doors, the repair of furniture, the preparation of premises for painting, the cleaning of appliances, the installation of baseboards, etc. To monitor the inventory of materials and tools required for maintenance and repairs To receive requests or complaints, to follow up and make corrections regarding various jobs and requests such as power outages, water leaks, etc. Identify and plan the nature and timing of certain long-term projects and follow up with management To ensure the proper functioning of the building and its equipment Oversee the management of apartment renovation work according to the program established by the general management To collaborate or perform any other tasks related to the maintenance department, as needed and at the request of the immediate supervisor Inform your immediate supervisor of the needs for materials and products for the maintenance and upkeep of the building.
