The Group Instructor/PE Coach will be responsible for providing physical education, skill-based training, and strength and conditioning programming for local schools in Webster. As a GYMGUYZ Group Instructor/PE Coach, you will provide professional instruction for each class while providing the highest level of customer service. Additionally, you must be able to adapt to various fitness levels and modify class instruction to create a safe, fun, and encouraging experience. You must also be able to adapt to various work environments including corporations, small businesses, residential complexes, schools, and other business settings (both indoor and outdoor).
Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive physical education, skill-based training, and strength and conditioning programs
  • Provide professional instruction in each class, ensuring the highest level of customer service as a GYMGUYZ Group Instructor/PE Coach.
  • Adapt instruction to accommodate various fitness levels, creating a safe, enjoyable, and encouraging experience for all participants.
  • Ensure student safety and provide ongoing motivation and support.
  • Monitor and track student progress based on the school's curriculum and requirements
  • Attend weekly and monthly 1:1 meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with youth sports preferred
  • Nationally recognized personal training or Group Instructor certification (e.g., ISSA, NASM, ACE, ACSM) preferred
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition a plus
  • Team player or collaborative with others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
