Job description

We are seeking a Seed Sales Specialist to build and maintain strong customer relationships while driving sales growth within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is passionate about agriculture, understands seed products and crop production, and enjoys working directly with growers, distributors, and agricultural professionals to deliver solutions that improve productivity and profitability.

Position ResponsibilitiesSales Development
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Grow market share through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, dealers, distributors, and key accounts.
  • Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and crop requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
Product Knowledge & Technical Support
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of seed products, agronomic practices, and industry trends.
  • Educate customers on product performance, planting recommendations, and best practices.
  • Assist customers in selecting products that align with their operational goals.
Territory Management
  • Plan and prioritize customer visits to maximize territory coverage.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
  • Certified Crop Adviser (CCA)
  • Certified Professional Agronomist (CPAg)
  • Agronomy or Seed Industry Certifications
  • Sales or Customer Relationship Management Certifications
