Job description

JOB SUMMARY
The CNA scheduler will be responsible for managing schedules and daily assignments of all CNAs with the goal of keeping schedules consistent through minimal travel; ensuring CNAs are meeting their desired hours while minimizing overtime. They will conduct interviews, hire, and train new employees while continuing to coach and improve current team members. They provide CNAs with the tools they need to be successful. And are available to support and direct CNAs as situations arise. CNA schedulers will also address complaints and find appropriate solutions while maintaining a positive and professional manor. They will organize and track reviews, supply orders, payroll, and educational hours required by the state. Answering phones and other miscellaneous office, clerical, and organization tasks may be required. This position will work closely with the Branch Manager, Clinical Manager and Assistant Clinical Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred CNA license in good standing with the state.
Preferred CNA experience of 2 years minimum.
Maintains current CPR certification.
Preferred management or leadership experience.
Must have strong communication skills when conversing with employees and team members.
Must be able to problem solve and defuse emotionally charged situations.
Must be have an upbeat, approachable attitude and demeanor.
Must be organized and self-motivated to stay on top of assigned tasks.
Must learn to manage time appropriately as duties continuously arrive.
Must be able to adapt to unexpected situations and adjust them in your daily schedule.
