Crane Rigger – Construction Site

Location: Sealy, TX

Position Summary:

The Crane Rigger is responsible for safely attaching, securing, and guiding loads during crane lifting operations on a construction site. This role works closely with crane operators and ground crews to ensure all lifting activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attach and secure loads to cranes using slings, chains, and rigging equipment

• Signal crane operators during lifting and positioning of materials

• Inspect rigging equipment before use to ensure safety compliance

• Ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely moved

• Follow OSHA and site safety regulations at all times

• Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and ground crew

• Assist with general construction tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a crane rigger in construction or industrial projects

• Knowledge of rigging methods, load handling, and standard hand signals

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Strong safety awareness and communication skills

• Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy materials

Preferred Qualifications:

• NCCCO Rigger Certification (or equivalent)

• Signal Person Certification
