Work Environment

Working from the comfort of your own home, you will leverage a secure telehealth platform to connect with clients in a convenient and flexible manner. You will have the autonomy to design your schedule within our core hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions online, utilizing video conferencing tools to engage with clients effectively.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of first responders, incorporating interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices.
• Assist clients in processing their emotions and understanding their behavioral patterns, offering guidance and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision, participating in peer consultations to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clients will be first responders, including law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire department staff, who often experience unique stressors and emotional challenges related to their occupations. By providing tailored therapeutic support, you will play an integral role in helping them build resilience and improve their mental wellness, contributing to healthier, more effective public service.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• A current, active license to practice in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical mental health counseling, specifically working with diverse populations.
• Proficient in utilizing digital platforms for therapy, demonstrating strong technological skills.
• Exceptional self-motivation and time management skills to effectively balance caseload.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with first responders or similar high-stress occupations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record systems.
• Training or certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques such as trauma-informed care or grief counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
