Aviara Rehab and Counseling Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) for full-time remote work. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine clientsโ€™ needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual circumstances.

  • Organize and lead psychoeducational and support groups to create a community atmosphere where clients can share experiences and receive guidance.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure seamless, integrated care for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to support clients experiencing mental health emergencies.
  • Educate clients about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available resources that can assist their recovery.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards as mandated.
  • Engage in case consultations and team meetings to foster a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.
  • Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in mental health therapy to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice addresses a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse challenges. You will work closely with a diverse client demographic, providing culturally competent care that respects individual backgrounds and unique needs.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must hold a current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of California.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques, with proven experience in conducting assessments and treatment planning.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Dedicated adherence to professional ethics and judgment in maintaining boundaries while providing care.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team dynamic.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing both individual and group therapy across diverse populations is highly desirable.
  • Background in outpatient mental health settings and familiarity with teletherapy is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
