Silver Birch Living of Michigan City is seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to join our Clinical Team. In this role, you’ll support residents’ health, safety, and daily care needs by assisting with medications and personal care. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist residents with daily care needs, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), following individualized care plans
  • Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments as directed, within your scope of practice
  • Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Wellness Nurse and clinical team
  • Document care and services accurately in the electronic health record
  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
  • Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members
  • Work closely with the Wellness team to support overall clinical operations and resident needs

What We’re Looking For
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Prior healthcare or senior living experience is helpful
  • A current QMA certification in good standing
  • Insulin certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to maintain required training and certifications
  • A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
  • Comfort using electronic documentation systems
