Interns typically support project managers with planning, coordinating, and overseeing various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, budgeting, and communication among team members. The role provides practical exposure to real-world projects, allowing interns to develop essential management and organizational skills. It also helps them build professional networks and better understand the project management field, preparing them for future full-time roles.

Is $20 an hour good for an intern?

For an Assistant Project Manager internship, $20 an hour is generally considered competitive, especially for entry-level or internship roles that may not require extensive experience. Interns often earn lower wages than full-time employees, but this rate can vary based on location, industry standards, and the complexity of tasks involved. It is important to consider the internship's learning opportunities and potential for future employment when evaluating pay.
