Job description

General Summary

Manage all aspects of flooring, paver, and tile installation projects to ensure project timeline, budget, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Act as key point of contact with builder superintendents, interfacing through builder website, email, phone, and in person.
  2. Track all jobsite milestone dates in scheduling software.
  3. Ensure completion of installation jobs according to builder install schedule.
  4. Ensure layout, materials, budget, and quantity accuracy.
  5. Work with the Production Coordinator to ensure accurate delivery dates of materials (material request dates).
  6. Collaborate with trade partners throughout installation to ensure quality and efficiency.
  7. Ensure job sites adhere to safety standards
  8. Assist in resolving issues/conflicts related to daily construction activities (eg. vendor contracts, work orders, job progress, layout).
  9. Complete job orientation with Production Coordinator.
  10. Perform pre- and post-installation inspections.
  11. Perform accurate field measurements.
  12. Act as a courier for miscellaneous job-related materials.
  13. Accompany non-employee (subcontractor) technicians on occupied warranty jobs.
  14. Assist with customer service tickets.
  15. Authorize installer payment for work completed.
  16. Supervise two or more staff/work groups.
  17. Submit additional work authorizations for payment at builder kiosks.
  18. Read blueprints, write and communicate effectively, make correct decisions, and delegate work effectively.
  19. Other management, administrative, and/or clerical duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally in both languages preferred.

3. Prior experience using common software programs.

Other Requirements

1. This role would require the ability to lift, push, and/or pull loads in excess of 50 lb.

2. Fundamental mathematical comprehension required.

3. Ability to multi-task is required.

4. Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle available for company use required. (Auto allowance and/or gas card to be provided.)

5. Travel required: daily travel required.
