We are hiring for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our 255 unit property in Italian Village. The Maintenance Supervisor position plays a critical role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of our property. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs, responding to service requests, and contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise/train/assist  Maintenance Techs I, II, & III

  • Diagnose and repair major systems

  • Oversee and assist with completion of unit turns and work orders 

  • Manage and/or assist with preventative maintenance and property inspections 

  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and apartment units, identifying and addressing maintenance concerns and safety hazards. 

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and property/company policies 

  • Maintain vendor relationships 

  • Assist with budget planning for maintenance and capital projects 

  • Ensure the curb appeal of the property including landscaping, snow removal, trash clean up

  • Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment

  • Performs additional duties as needed to support business operations

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of property maintenance or related experience, including supervisory oversight

  • Previous experience in managing maintenance for a 200+ unit property

  • HVAC and CPO certifications 

  • Ability to manage priorities, budgets, and people effectively 

  • Working knowledge of maintenance tools, safety procedures and general repair practices 

  • Must be HVAC certified and have or willing to get CPO certification if applicable

  • Strong resident relation skills 

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand/walk for the majority of the day
