Assistant Project Manager (Electrical Construction) – Austin, TX

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor in the Austin market to identify motivated Assistant Project Managers who are looking to advance their careers while supporting complex commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical/data center projects.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is eager to develop into a Project Manager through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers with the planning, execution, and successful delivery of electrical construction projects.
  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate material procurement, subcontractors, and project documentation.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Maintain project records and assist with contract administration.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with field and office teams.
  • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and support resolution efforts.
  • Assist with monthly billings, job cost reporting, and project closeout documentation.
  • Promote compliance with safety standards, company policies, and client requirements.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination, project engineering, or assistant project management.
  • Experience in electrical construction strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, project controls, and contract administration.
