Summary:ย ย ย
The Entry Level Project Engineer provides technical support regarding the use of Flow Improvers to internal and external customers in support of LSPIโs business goals. Receives functional guidance fromย theย Managerย ofย Engineering and Technical Services. Role is not limited to the above listed responsibilitiesย and may include other duties as assigned.ย
Responsibilities:ย
- Participates in all assigned training and activities to develop technicalย expertiseย in the science of drag reduction and the hydraulics of liquid hydrocarbon pipelines with the goal of moving into other parts of LSPI organization for further developmentย
- Under the supervision of the Manager of Engineering and Technical Services, acts as a technical resource to LSPI Sales and external customers in theย utilizationย of LSPI drag reducing products to meet operational goals of liquid hydrocarbon pipelines, by:ย
- Providingย expertiseย in the hydraulics of liquid hydrocarbon pipelines in conjunction with the science of drag reductionย
- Utilizingย in-houseย modeling software and/or proprietary prediction equations to produce prediction Technical Service Reports (TSRs) to present the impact of using drag reducers in customerโs pipelinesย
- Designing and executing field tests of LSPI products in customer pipelines, conductingย subsequentย data analysis, and documenting tests in TSRsย
- Supports the maintenance of LSPIโs comprehensive performance equations and other hydraulics and predictions tools (e.g., shear point calculator, nozzle spreadsheet, etc.) to support ETS prediction workย
- Supports the maintenance ETS SharePoint site and contentsย
- Provides technical support to business development activities and LSPI business initiativeย
