Job description

Farmers & Merchants Bank is a family owned, chartered institution with office locations in 12 communities in Nebraska, and about 100 employees. We have everything the bigger banks have - the newest technology, a suite of diverse products and services, and knowledgeable bankers - but with a hometown feel that's open, friendly, and welcoming.

The following is an outline of duties for a Loan Administrator

Essential Functions

· Provides account services to customers by processing applications for credit, monitoring and tracking the flow of information with each application.

· Answer questions in person, corresponding professionally on the telephone, mail, and e-mail and refers customers to other Bank services.

· Tracks and Monitors final documentation by reviewing the file for completeness and following up to ensure all proper documentation is present.

· Maintains monthly loan billing statements

· Complies with bank operations and procedures by consulting with and working with the compliance officer to ensure that all loans are documented completely and accurately and all filings are made timely.

· Assists loan officers by performing loan operations.

· Assist with tasks and projects as assigned.

· Complies with Bank operations and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

· Follows attendance policies in compliance with the employer handbook.

· Maintains customer confidence and protects Bank operations by keeping information confidential.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
